A multi-session program for the Certified Lean Master program will start on February 4, 2009. This program involves a complete package of education and coaching on the implementation of lean supply chains. You will work to improve one value stream at your organization as part of the program; the result will be quantifiable improvements for your organization and personal recognition as a Certified Lean Master.
The program has three educational sessions of three days each with a four week break between sessions so you can apply the knowledge to your lean initiative and begin seeing immediate results. The sessions are:
- February 4, 5, and 6: Crafting a lean initiative and value stream mapping
- March 11, 12, and 13: Creating flow and leveraging pull
- April 15, 16, and 17: Lean supply chains and the CLM exam
- All days will run from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

The fee for the 9 educational sessions, all materials, coaching on your project, and the certification exam is $3,100. This program is regularly priced at $3,450 with value that exceeds similar programs offered at $6,000 or more.
The Certified Lean Master (CLM) Program
CLM is a program from the International Supply Chain Education Alliance (ISCEA). The program is focused on:
- Creating Lean Supply Chains for Manufacturing, Distribution, Retail, Service, and Virtual Organizations
- Developing leadership skills through education, application, and coaching
