APICS Northern Colorado has an opening for a Value Stream Manager - CSCP. APICS Northern Colorado is a progressive and active chapter with aggressive growth plans. We need a volunteer to focus on the CSCP program as one of our key value streams.
This position requires a self starter who can work well within the leadership team to meet chapter objectives as defined in the annual plan. Responsibilities will include course scheduling, instructor assignments, coordination of materials, tracking performance, and implementation of improvements to the value stream.
This position offers a unique opportunity for an individual seeking to improve their lean credentials. The Value Stream Manager - CSCP will direct a value stream that has recently been improved as part of our chapter’s lean initiative. There remain a number of improvements to implement that will reduce waste and increase effectiveness.
The perks for the right volunteer include no/low cost access to APICS chapter events including training, seminars, certification classes, and special events. Our annual Leadership Development Workshop has drawn wide acclaim as a superior value for professionals seeking to improve their leadership and presentation skills.
In addition, this position is responsible for a significant portion of the chapter revenue and costs. Additional opportunities exist for social and professional networking.
Time commitment is approximately 2-4 hours per week and optional attendance at monthly Board of Directors meetings.
